Brb…eating began in 2009 with the intent to share dishes from my childhood and the stories that I will always connect with them. Since then it has become an outlet for me to hunger, cook, eat, come back, and reminisce. I am currently an East Coaster who grew up on the West Coast. My culinary spark began when I would come home from grade school and watch Jeff Smith’s “Frugal Gourmet” on PBS while experimenting with whatever ingredients I can take from the pantry and refrigerator. Since then I have constantly been experimenting, creating, re-creating, or tasting everything in sight.
I believe that good food can be simple, delicious, and have a story. Please join me on my journey as I revisit and document the dishes I love.
